This Privacy Policy explains how Anderson Diagnostics and Labs handles information in the Anderson Connect mobile application with package ID com.anderson.patientapp. The app is intended to help registered patients securely access health reports linked to their registered mobile number.

Anderson Connect is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Please consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice or interpretation of reports.

Information We Collect

The app collects or receives the following information when required for account verification and report access:

Registered mobile number entered for OTP login.
OTP verification information required to confirm access.
Patient profile information linked to the registered mobile number, including patient name, patient number, age or date of birth, and sex or gender.
Bill details, investigation details, lab reports, radiology reports, report URLs or file identifiers, and report-view status.
Basic app session information required to keep you signed in and show the correct records.

How We Use Information

We use the information only for app functionality and healthcare service operations, including:

Verifying the registered mobile number through OTP login.
Showing patient profiles and health reports linked to the verified mobile number.
Opening lab and radiology reports through secure, server-issued, expiring access links.
Maintaining report-view records and supporting account/session security.
Complying with applicable medical, legal, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Health And Patient Data

Health reports and patient details are sensitive personal information. Anderson Connect displays diagnostic information made available by Anderson Diagnostics and Labs. The app does not independently create diagnoses, treatment recommendations, emergency alerts, or clinical decisions.

Storage And Security

The app stores the login token using secure device storage. Some basic session details, such as registered mobile number and patient selection data, may be stored locally so the app can keep the user signed in and display relevant records. Android backup for app data is disabled.

Communication with the Anderson API uses HTTPS. Report files are accessed through server-issued signed links that expire, instead of permanent client-side file secrets.

Sharing

We do not sell patient or health data. Information may be processed by Anderson Diagnostics and Labs systems and service providers only where needed to operate the app, provide report access, maintain security, support healthcare service delivery, or comply with law.

App Permissions

The current live Android app requests internet access so it can sign in, retrieve patient details, and display reports. Features that are not currently available in the live app, such as appointment booking, home collection, or alias mobile management, are not accessible from the current user experience.

Retention

Patient records, bill details, report details, and related service records are retained according to Anderson Diagnostics and Labs operational, medical, legal, and regulatory requirements. Local app session data may be cleared by logging out or clearing app storage on the device.

Access, Correction, And Deletion Requests

You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable by contacting Anderson Diagnostics and Labs through the official contact details published on our Play Store listing or official website. Some medical or legal records may need to be retained where required by applicable law or healthcare regulations.

Children

Anderson Connect is not directed to children for independent use. Access to minor patient records should be handled by a parent, guardian, or authorized representative according to applicable healthcare and consent requirements.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when app functionality, data practices, legal requirements, or security practices change. Updated versions will be made available in the app and on this page.
